If you are hiring non-resident employees to work in Singapore, you must ensure that they hold a valid work pass (commonly known as a work visa) before they start work. The commonly applied passes for professionals/mid-level skilled technical staff are:
- Employment pass
- EntrePass
- Personalised employment pass
- S Pass
Main pass holders of employment pass or S pass who are eligible may apply for dependant passes for their legally married spouse and unmarried children (under 21 years old).
